The "Game Changer" research cluster focuses on technical, aesthetic and content-based aspects of computer gaming and seeks to establish new fields of application for digital games. Digital game-based training modules have already been developed for the healthcare, traffic regulation and environmental protection sectors. A particular specialisation of HTW Berlin in this area is the development of virtual archaeology. HTW Berlin has provided courses for games developers since 2009.
