The application form was created in Windows with the programme Adobe LiveCycle Designer. This is an intelligent form that converts the information you provide into XML data before subjecting it to further processing. This makes it easier and quicker for us to prepare your application data internally, and ultimately results in the more efficient processing of your application. Our application form can be read and edited with a Windows operating system and the (free) software Adobe Acrobat Reader.

After weighing the benefits associated with modernising the application process on the one hand and possible technical risks on the other, we decided on this particular kind of application form. Nevertheless, we would like to make you aware of the fact that use of the form may be (severely) restricted when using alternative operating systems or certain browser settings. Furthermore, Adobe products contain security risks just like any other technology.

If you decide not to use this form, you can alternatively send us an email with your application documents and your consent to the storage of your data (in a PDF document) to bewerbung-personal@htw-berlin.de or send us your application documents by post. Please note that when sending your application documents by email, other formats such as Word files, Open Office files, zip archives, image attachments, etc. cannot be accepted for IT security reasons. We would like to inform you that sending unencrypted emails and attachments also carries its own risks.
