These steps have to be taken to apply successfully at HTW Berlin:
- Nomination: Your home university must nominate you for the student exchange programme at HTW Berlin. This takes place digitally via our Mobility Online portal.
- Invitation: HTW Berlin will send you an invitation to apply for the student exchange programme. What documents are required? Please check out the detailed information online well before the application deadline !
- Application: Now it is your turn! Upload all the required documents to our Mobility Online portal .
- Confirmation: We will review the applications and request additional documents if necessary. Finally, you will receive a letter of acceptance.
What happens next?
The winter semester at HTW Berlin usually begins on 1st of October and the summer semester on the 1st of April. Nominations and applications always take place one semester in advance. For example, the process for the summer semester of 2027 starts in the winter semester of 2026/27.
Winter semester:
- Nomination: until Mid-April
- Invitation: until end of April
- Application: until Mid-May
- Confirmation: until end of June
Summer semester:
- Nomination: until Mid-October
- Invitation: until end of October
- Application: until Mid-November
- Confirmation: until end of December
