Girls’ Day

Can I study engineering? Of course you can! The Girls’ Day (“Zukunftstag” – Future Day for Girls and Boys) provides insights into the various engineering study programmes offered by HTW Berlin. Through a range of fun events, you can get to know the thought processes of a computer scientist or take a look at the solar building at HTW Berlin. The Girls’ Day is a nationwide initiative designed to provide career orientation for girls and takes place every year at the end of April/beginning May.

JUMP in MINT is a career mentoring programme for schoolgirls in Berlin from grade nine and upwards. Over the period of one year, the girls explore different MINT (Mathematics, Information technology, Natural sciences and Technology) professions and career paths. They work on career-relevant goals in workshops and with their MINT mentors.

Mädchen machen Technik

Every year during the autumn holidays, HTW Berlin offers interested girls valuable insights into a range of engineering study programmes. They can try out different subjects over the course of three days. The initiative is open to all schoolgirls from grade nine and upwards. Further information can be found on the web page Mädchen machen Technik.
