With this DAAD scholarship, HTW Berlin supports international students in the final phase of their studies who have performed well and are in need of financial assistance.

The scholarship is aimed at international students at HTW Berlin

• who are in the final phase of their studies and
• need financial support during this time.

Preference will be given to:

• Students in a bachelor's degree programme
• First-time applicants for this scholarship

The following are not eligible for funding:

• International students with additional German citizenship
• Foreign nationals who have obtained their university entrance qualification in Germany
• Students in postgraduate programmes (e.g. continuing education master's programmes)

The selection is made by an independent committee based on the following criteria:

• Academic performance
• Voluntary work
• Personal circumstances

The scholarship is intended exclusively for the final phase of your studies. You must be residing in Germany while working on your thesis.

Maximum funding amount: up to €1,984.

The number of scholarships is limited. There is no legal entitlement to funding.

• 1 January to 15 March if you are writing your thesis in the summer semester 
• 1 August until 15 September if you are writing your thesis in the winter semester
