The scholarship is open to applications of international degree seeking students at HTW Berlin with special challenges * during their studies like

• special care situations for children
• or relatives in need of care (care level 1 and 2)
• level of disability of at least 50% or chronic illness
• refugee background

*At least one characteristic must be fulfilled!

Please note: International students who also have German citizenship
citizenship are not eligible for STIBET funding.

The selection is made by an independent committee on the basis of the following criteria:

• proven special challenges during studies

The funding duration and scholarship amount depend on the respectively available funds.

• Please arrange a personal counselling with the counselor for international students

Application documents: As a rule, the following documents must be submitted

•     Application form (to be completed digitally via Moodle)
•     Proof of income (last 3 months)
•     Copy of passport and residence permit
•     Detailed description of your individual challenges including corresponding proofs
