This hands-on workshop is specifically designed to help international students develop strong application skills for both German- and English-language job positions in Germany. This session provides focused guidance on crafting compelling cover letters and CVs, as well as tips on optional application photos commonly included in German applications.

You’ll receive practical insights on creating documents optimized for ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), ensuring your application materials meet the technical requirements often used by employers in Germany. Through brief exercises, you will explore ways to highlight your unique strengths, international backgrounds, and personal “Unique Selling Points.” This self-reflection will empower you to confidently present your qualifications and experiences to prospective employers, setting you apart in the German job market.

Additionally, the workshop will introduce helpful AI tools, including ChatGPT and DeepL, to support you in writing and refining application documents. Best practice prompts for AI usage will be demonstrated, giving you practical, time-saving techniques to enhance your application quality.

This workshop is ideal for international students who want to develop essential application skills and make a lasting impression in Germany’s job market.
