For the winter semester 2023/2024 (beginning on October 1st, 2023) the degree programme Master Project Management and Data Science is looking for an associate lecturer for the course

Master’s Thesis Seminar

The lecture spans 1 weekly study hour (17 teaching units at 45 minutes). The module is conducted fully online and usually divided into 4 sessions. Additional and tried and tested material is available on our learning platform Moodle.
The students are enrolled in the last semester of the Masters programme Project Management and Data Science. Approx. 30 students participate in the seminar.

• structure, style, format, language, plagiarism in academic writing
• revising each students project

Students are able to analyse a topic using academic methods and findings from an academic and operational perspective and develop solutions. They demonstrate that they are familiar with academic working methods, argumentation techniques and the requirements of academic work and are able to fulfil them. They have mastered the preliminary work required to prepare for a piece of academic writing, such as research in resources other than electronic media, and are able to familiarise themselves with unknown topics and to develop and evaluate alternative courses of action, taking into account the existing literature and requirements.
