honorary lecturer (m/w/o) in the course Electronics

For the winter semester 2023/2024 (beginning on October 1st, 2023) the School of Engineering – Energy and Information – is looking for a lecturer for a temporary teaching appointment in the course

Electronics

The lecture spans 3 hours per week (3 SWS, a total of 135 min/week). The students are either regularly enrolled at the HTW or within the international exchange program ‘Horizon’, most likely in the third or fifth semester of their bachelor studies. The schedule within the semester is still flexible. Approximately 5 students will participate in the course. The module is to be taught in English (lecture and study material).

Learning outcome:
The students have a fundamental knowledge of analog electronics. They understand devices, PN junctions and their underlying physical principles. They are familiar with single-stage amplifiers stages and can apply their knowledge to analyze and design simple analog circuits.

Lecture contents:

  • Basics of Semiconductor Physics and PN Junctions
  • Devices: Diode, BJT, FET (Large and Small-Signal Behavior)
  • Biasing
  • Single-Stage Amplifiers
  • Ideal Op Amps

There is a white board, beamer, and projection camera installed in each seminar room.
Further information on this and other modules can be found in the campus management system (LSF) lsf.htw-berlin.de. The lecture takes place at the Wilhelminenhof campus of HTW Berlin.
