The bachelor’s and master degree programmes in Business Communication Management provide students with knowledge in analysing, planning and developing internal and external communication processes of businesses and institutions also considering current developments in society, media and markets.

We are looking for a colleague to represent and further develop business communication as a field of expertise in teaching and applied research against the backdrop of current social transformation processes.

Business communication management, especially corporate and organisational communications, is to be reflected and conveyed in planning and conception by the appointee in the broad scope of technological, medial, ecological, social and ethical references.

• Holding lectures in the bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes of Business Communication Management with an extent of 18 semester periods per week
• Acquisition and implementation of applied research projects in the field of expertise
• Extension of the range of courses at HTW Berlin including its cooperating partners
• Participation in academic self-governance

• University degree in communication or social studies
• PhD in the relevant field of expertise
• At least five years of professional experience, three of which acquired outside of the academic context, preferably in a executive position in communication management of distinguished a company, agency or organisation (association, politics, administration, NGOs etc.)
• Proven ability in theoretical reflection, documented by current scientific publications in the field of expertise
• Experience in lecturing in the field of expertise, preferably also in English
