For degree programmes with restricted admission, you must first register with the Hochschulstart platform. Depending on your nationality and the country in which you obtained your higher education entrance qualification, you can then apply either directly to HTW Berlin or via uni-assist.

Do any of these requirements apply to you?

• You have a German university entrance qualification (e.g. German Abitur (secondary school leaving examination)).
• You have German nationality or are a citizen of an EU or EEA country.
• You want to change your degree programme within HTW Berlin.
• You have successfully completed a preparatory course (Studienkolleg) in Germany.

Do both requirements apply to you?

• You are not a citizen of an EU or EEA country.
• You have obtained your higher education entrance qualification outside Germany.
