The academic calendar lists the most important deadlines and dates for the current semester.

Module registration at HTW Berlin is carried out in four phases. For certain groups, e.g. students with children, special rules apply.

A number of formalities must be observed for examinations and mandatory internships, for example you are required to register for them.

The semester fee consists of an administrative fee, the semester ticket and contributions to Studierendenwerk Berlin and the student body.

Please remember to re-register for each new semester and to pay the semester fee.

HTW Berlin is an international university and you have the opportunity to spend up to two semesters abroad. In return, numerous international students come to HTW Berlin for an exchange semester or to do an entire study programme.

Teaching and studying are organised in the five faculties of HTW Berlin. You can contact your faculty administration, e.g. if you have problems with your lecture schedule or want to register your thesis.

Studying during the pandemic is a challenge. HTW Berlin is here to support you! All information can be found in the coronavirus FAQ for students (in German).

Each study programme has its own website. This is where you will find the Study and Examination Regulations that apply to your study programme, an overview of all modules, regulations regarding internships and the final thesis as well as contact details for all lecturers.

The HTW StudentCard functions as a student ID card, semester ticket and library card. It must be re-activated every semester.
