Holistic Mobility at HTW Berlin
Holistic Mobility is a concept within the European University Alliance EUonAIR that takes a holistic view of and promotes international experiences. It encompasses all forms of mobility – physical and virtual – and supports participants before, during and after their stay abroad.
What does Holistic Mobility mean?
- Physical and virtual mobility are equally recognised as international learning experiences.
- Students and staff receive comprehensive support throughout the entire mobility cycle.
- International experiences are systematically recorded in order to make their added value visible and usable.
Holistic Mobility describes how international experiences, e.g. through academic exchange, migration or flight, have an impact after return, for example through new skills, career opportunities or contributions to local labour markets.
