Mastering the correct and effective use of AI tools is becoming increasingly important in the application process. In this workshop, you will learn how to leverage AI technologies such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity to create high-quality CVs and cover letters for the German job market.

First, the key requirements for job applications in Germany will be introduced. Building on this, you will learn how to use AI to draft, refine, and optimize your documents in line with these standards, focusing on best practices for AI-assisted writing and effective prompt strategies. You will also learn how to use AI tools to reflect on and clearly articulate your individual strengths and unique selling points (USPs).

In addition, job advertisements will be analyzed and "decoded" with the help of AI in order to identify key requirements, expectations, and salary indicators that support effective positioning and salary negotiation. The session will also introduce how AI tools can be used for effective interview preparation, including practicing interview questions, refining answers, and aligning personal experiences with role-specific requirements.

This workshop is ideal for international students (but also all other students) who want to develop essential application skills and make a lasting impression in Germany’s job market.
