The University of applied Sciences BFI Vienna

Based on a constructive cooperation for many years between the University of applied Sciences BFI Vienna and HTW Berlin, both University Boards have signed a joint letter of intent about a strategic partnership in November 2021.

The University of applied Sciences BFI Vienna is a university with a strong international focus and has ensured qualitive and excellent academic teaching in the field of economics for more than 20 years now. Practically orientated, innovative and cosmopolitan – virtues shared by the HTW Berlin – the University of applied Sciences concentrates on the present and future economic and social challenges.

On the basis of the positive experience by previous bilateral exchange of students and lecturers as well as an agreement on a double degree in human resources and staff management, there is now given priority to the development of a joint degree in the subject area of European Economic Policy.

Furthermore, the cooperation shall be intensified and extended to other fields within the next years. Apart from joined teaching and research activities the main focus is on the accomplishment of cooperative Summer Schools at both university sites.
