Please also note that the EAE Business School in Barcelona now operates as the Universitat de Lleida (UdL). In this case, applications are only accepted in Lleida (near Barcelona)

• Proof of completing at least 60 Bachelor-credits (ECTS) before starting the exchange semester is required (does not apply to students attending a double degree programme)
• Language qualification (grades from high schools or equal cannot be recognized as proof of language proficiency) for
  • English-taught programs: at least GER B2.2 (A-levels certificate is not sufficient)
  • English-taught programs in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the USA: at least GER C1
  • French- taught programs: at least GER B2
  • Italian-taught programs: at least GER B1
  • Spanish- taught programs: at least GER B1
• Accepted proof of language proficiency can for example be obtained through
  • Successfully completing a HTW language course of the required language level (Unicert certificate)
  • Recognized external language tests like TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, Cambridge Assessment or similar
  • Successfully completing a language courses of the required level from other universities or the VHS (Volkshochschule)
• Important: The proof of language proficiency has to be not older than 2 years.
  

Grades from high schools or equal cannot be recognized as the proof of language proficiency
Even if you fulfil all of the requirements, HTW Berlin cannot guarantee an exchange place at a specific partner university.
