AWE-Kurs zu Gender und Informatik:

Computing likes to see itself as a genderless field. It is, however, a field with quite extreme gender constructions. In this course we will first be examining the concept of gender and the construction of gender, then we will look into how these concepts manifest themselves in computing. We will investigate questions such as object discovery using feminist critique and gender-sensitive data base definition.

The course was repeated in WS 2006/07 .
