The Deutschlandsemesterticket (DST) will be issued by S-Bahn Berlin starting from the summer semester of 2025. Registration on the S-Bahn Berlin portal is required for usage.

The DST is valid on all local trains (RB, RE, S-Bahn) and public transport (bus, tram, subway) of the participating state tariffs, transport associations, and transportation companies.  
The DST is not valid on trains of DB Fernverkehr AG (IC, EC, ICE) and other long-distance transport providers such as FlixTrain.

You have to register online at the S-Bahn Berlin portal to use the DST:

You are only eligible to download the DST, if you have paid your semester fee in full. The eligibility expires at the end of the month in which you are de-registered.
