Bachelor’s study programmes
Table of contents
To apply directly for a Bachelor’s study programme at HTW Berlin, you require a recognised higher education entry qualification for the State of Berlin, e.g.:
- general university/university of applied sciences entry qualification obtained in Germany
- general university entry qualification obtained from a German school abroad
- Studienkolleg (university preparatory course) completed at HTW Berlin
University of applied science entry qualifications often comprise an academic and a vocational component.
Please observe the Information from the Berlin Senate Department for Education, Youth and Science on recognition of university of applied science entry qualifications.
If you have chosen a distance-learning study programme, please check the study programme website to see whether proof of completed vocational training is necessary.
For certain study programmes, HTW Berlin participates in the local restricted admissions procedure. The local restricted admissions procedure helps universities with their admissions processes and helps to prevent vacant study places.
Please apply via the application portal of HTW Berlin.
Enter your user data from Hochschulstart.de (BID and BAN) into the application portal of HTW Berlin or create a user account with Hochschulstart.de from the application portal of HTW Berlin.
For your information: Hochschulstart.de – the dialogue-oriented service procedure – is designed to help you coordinate your applications to multiple universities. This service is available if your chosen universities participate in this procedure. As soon as you accept a study place, your applications for other study places will be withdrawn. The study places that become free as a result can then be allocated to other prospective students.
